Art has been a professional photographer for over seventeen years. Art and Connie Wright formed AJW Photo in 2003, and have since photographed over fifty weddings. AJW Photo is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Virginia PPA, the Texas PPA, the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, and is a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS - www.nilmdts.org) a 501(c)(3), non-profit group that provides bereavement photography for families that are experiencing an early infant loss. Also, in 2007 Art earned the CPP designation from the PPA.

                       Certified Professional Photographer is a designation granted by the Professional Photographic Certification Commission, the world's leading certification agency of imaging professionals. Those who have earned Certification have passed a comprehensive written examination measuring their technical expertise, and have successfully submitted their work to a panel of Master Photographers for review and approval. When you see a photographer displaying the Certified seal, you can be assured that he or she is among the less than 3% of all imaging professionals who have successfully completed and maintained the requirements of the Certification Commission.
